Leeds City Region Marketing Coordinator – Fixed term contract until 30th June 2019

What is the role?

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator on a fixed term contract until 30th June 2019 to assist in the development of LCR events and marketing campaigns from brief through to final item in order.  The overall aim is to help increase the number of exporters in the region.

  • You will develop and deliver a campaign highlighting the support available through the Exporting For Growth Project whilst working with appropriate partners and stakeholders from across the LCR;
  • You are responsible for implementing  the agreed tactical marketing campaigns for specific services, to generate targeted leads for the Exporting for Growth project and relevant internal customers;
  • You will assist on the development of digital support for international trade through webinars and other digital platforms;
  • You will aid the International Trade Advisers in the delivery of bespoke marketing activity to help them deliver against their key objectives;
  • You will represent the LCR and partners at regional exhibitions where necessary, assist the set up and close down briefing all parties involved where appropriate;

Who are you?

  • A great team player with good social skills and the ability to engage with people at all levels.
  • Experienced in a marketing and/or events role and enjoys being in a customer-facing role with demonstrable experience of this.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines as well a superb attention to detail.
  • Have a good working knowledge of local business support, needs and provisions across the LCR.

The fine print.

  • This is a fixed term role until 30th June 2019.
  • Please note this role is fully funded by the European Regional Development Fund, and it is subject to mandatory Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) pre-employment screening comprising verification of identity, nationality and immigration status, confirmation of 3 years minimum employment history and/or other activity, and third-party verification of unspent convictions.
