A successful entrepreneur, Malcolm has set up, run and sold companies in fields as diverse as theatrical production, advertising and design and publishing, this in addition to his corporate career, so is well placed to understand the challenges facing business entrepreneurs. Over the past 7 years he has been involved with the design and delivery of support services to the mainstream UK SME sector and is also regarded as an expert on social enterprise as he passionately believes in the benefits of business for a social purpose.
Developing and delivering entrepreneurship and enterprise services to both the public and private sector led Malcolm to spearhead a move away from a reliance on face-to-face advisory support to a successful blended model of delivery incorporating telephone and online market access to better support business needs.
Malcolm also has an active interest in business innovation and the ways in which digital technology can be more effectively used for information, education, communication and collaboration as part of a broader business support model.
