Helping SMEs boost productivity
Increasing business productivity is central to economic growth, living standards, and well-being. The Productivity Puzzle in the UK, has seen productivity grow slowly since the last financial crisis.
At Exemplas, we’re tackling this challenge by helping SMEs understand key drivers in their business and develop focused plans to boost their productivity.
In partnership with Leeds Beckett University, we’ve developed a research-based Productivity Improvement Framework that provides a range of carefully structured business support.
This includes access to an Exemplas productivity manager who helps clients:
- Assess current productivity levels
- Understand their strengths and weaknesses through an in-depth diagnostic and
- Develop a robust improvement plan with measurable progress indicators.
Through the framework, SMEs will know where to focus their efforts for maximum impact and be able to take control of their future productivity planning, measuring and monitoring.
SMEs has demonstrated an average of 11% increase in measurable productivity following the productivity support.
Learning from this approach has been published in a series of co-authored Insight Papers (link) and has been research-validated through deployment to over 400 businesses, offering a scalable approach to productivity improvement for funders and partners.
