Over the past 15 years he’s worked with several universities to create spin-out businesses, helping to commercialise breakthrough technology and scientific research in areas such as corrosion monitoring, smart materials, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and lipids for drug formulation.
Throughout his career, Arun has built an extensive investor network of angels, seed-stage investors and venture capitalists, as well those specialist investors such as accelerators and university spin-out seed funders.
Arun is a regular speaker and panel member at high-profile investment, fundraising and commercialisation events, and runs popular workshops and webinars on funding and finance. He also participates in judging panels and review committees that evaluate companies looking to raise investment and equity funding.
Arun is an engineer by training and a management graduate of Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge, where he specialised in entrepreneurship, technology commercialisation and venture capital.
