A former software and energy research engineer, Fernando specialises in energy efficiency and building technologies, power generation, clean tech, bioenergy and circular business models. He advises clients on developing net-zero roadmaps, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals, developing green credentials, and accessing sustainable finance and funding.
Fernando has a master’s in renewable energy and energy efficiency, and his MBA dissertation focused on business model innovation in the circular economy. A sustainability consultant on numerous international building projects, he’s also a former director of an environmental engineering company, where he led the development and commercialisation of new circular /sustainable products and processes for the clean tech, building and bioeconomy sectors.
