With over 15 years’ experience as a business adviser, Liza has worked directly with hundreds of SMEs — helping them start, grow, and navigate challenges across sectors. Her deep understanding of the realities facing small businesses underpins her approach to shaping support that’s practical, relevant, and impactful.
Before stepping into her leadership role at the Growth Hub, Liza held advisory positions with Business Link London and Wenta, where she also set up and managed a business incubator. She began her career in finance, supporting small businesses to access funding, and has since built a reputation for fostering high-value partnerships and championing collaboration across the business support ecosystem.
Liza now works closely with local, regional, and national stakeholders to ensure the Growth Hub service meets the evolving needs of Hertfordshire’s diverse business community.
In her role, Liza leads the Growth Hub’s talented team. She is also responsible for the delivery of the Growth Hub’s contract for Exemplas and its consortium partners on behalf of Hertfordshire Futures part of Hertfordshire County Council.
