He originally qualified as an aircraft engineer in the RAF before moving into the commercial sector in the 1980s. He’s since worked as a manager and a director within SMEs in technical, operationaland financial roles, as well starting, running and selling his own companies.

In 2015 he became a business adviser, leveraging his considerable knowledge and helping company owners identify and overcome barriers to growth. Steve wants to help SMEs that are under pressure to not only sustain business levels, but to exceed them and survive in a competitive environment. 

His advice is practical and tailored to focus on what can be achieved with the resources available, helping businesses with challenges such as financial management and investment, building a strong team, systemising operations and creating sales and marketing strategies. 

He’s motivated by seeing people feel more confident about achieving their goals and providing support for them to succeed.
